Reconstruction programme of Mosambique |
| After the floods in Mozambique in February-May 2000 the Finnish Government pledged FIM 25 Million for a reconstruction programme of Mozambican meteorological service (Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia, INAM). |

| By request of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland a fact-finding mission was carried out in late May 2000. A project proposal of immediate actions 2000 – 2001 was prepared jointly by INAM and FMI. |
