Mr. Steve Pollonais, the newly appointed Team Leader of the SIDS-Caribbean Project 2001-2003 "Preparedness to Climate Variability and Global Change in Small Island Developing States, Caribbean Region", and Mr. Francisco Villalpando, WMO Secretariat, visited FMI. A joint meeting on the preliminar plans for 2001 was held with the Project Team Leader, WMO, Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland (MFAF) and FMI.
